Information

CareFirst Health Insurance

·         IBSS pays the Full Premium for individual employees and reimburses the Full Deductible of the individual coverage or the family plan through our 100% company-funded Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), which is automatically attached to both of our health insurance plans. 

·         The Open Access HMO does NOT require any written provider referrals. 

·         Employees are eligible to receive coverage the first day of the first full month of work. 

·         If the first day of the month is the first day of work, then an employee is eligible for coverage on that day.


CareFirst Dental PPO Plan

·         IBSS Pays 100% of the Premium for the Individual Employee and you are able to purchase family coverage at a pre-tax rate if desired. 

·         IBSS does not reimburse the Dental PPO deductible, nor is the Dental PPO deductible in any way related to the medical insurance deductible. 

·         Employees are eligible to receive coverage the first day of the first full month of work. 

·         If the first day of the month is the first day of work, then an employee is eligible for coverage on that day.


Unum Life Insurance

·         IBSS pays 100% of the premium for individual employee Life and LTD/STD insurance and enrolls every employee. 

·         Employees are eligible to receive coverage the first day of the first full month of work. 

·         If the first day of the month is the first day of work, then an employee is eligible for coverage on that day. 

·         Lincoln National provides our employee combined Life/Short and Long-term Disability Policy.


Unum Long Term and Short Term Disability

·         IBSS pays 100% of the premium for individual employee Life and LTD/STD insurance and enrolls every employee. 

·         Employees are eligible to receive coverage the first day of the first full month of work. 

·         If the first day of the month is the first day of work, then an employee is eligible for coverage on that day. 

·         Lincoln National provides our employee combined Life/Short and Long-term Disability Policy.


Mutual of Omaha 401k

·         IBSS offers its employees a 401k plan through Mutual of Omaha.  

·         This 401k is a Safe Harbor 401k plan with a ROTH option that allows employees to defer a portion of their salary (according to current IRS guidelines) to save for retirement. 

·         Employees are eligible to participate in this plan from their first day of work.

·         IBSS also offers an employer match contribution up to 4% of the employee salary. 

·         The match begins at the employee contribution level of 3% and increases in 50% increments, thus the matching schedule is as follows:

o    Employee contribution 3% = Employer match contribution 3%

o    Employee contribution 4% = Employer match contribution 3.5%

o    Employee contribution 5% = Employer match contribution 4%

·         Employees are eligible to receive the IBSS match on qualifying contributions on their first day of work. 

·         Employer match contributions occur simultaneously with employee contributions and are 100% vested immediately on the day they are remitted to 401k accounts.

AFLAC Flex Spending

IBSS also offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through AFLAC’s Cafeteria plan. 

·         This plan allows employees to set aside pre-tax savings to use for IRS-approved costs such as unreimbursed medical expenses, dependent care, mass transit and parking (see Transit One) according to IRS guidelines. 

·         Employees are eligible to set aside wages in this plan from their first day of work.

·         Please see the flexible spending brochure for more details and the enrollment forms to initiate this benefit.  

·         Also through AFLAC, IBSS offers the purchase of catastrophic health event insurance plans and supplemental dental insurance. 

·         Purchase of these plans is completely optional and enrollment must be directly handled by our AFLAC broker. 

·         The rates are included and the premiums may be deducted from employee wages at a pre-tax rate. 

·         The rates for such plans will never increase once the plan is purchased and they are portable, thus an employee may continue to keep the plan even if the current employment status changes. 

·         Employees are eligible to purchase these plans from their first day of work.

Paid Leave

·         Paid leave is an essential benefit in today's job market so that Employees may take care of personal matters, obtain proper medical treatment and take time for themselves to relax and refresh. 

·         IBSS offers a generous leave package that begins accruing the first day of work and may be utilized upon the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.

·         Annual leave may not be used until the Employee successfully completes a 90-day probationary period unless special authorization is obtained.

Education and Professional Certification Assistance

In order to offer our clients the most effective, cutting edge services and the most knowledgeable support staff, IBSS constantly invests in its Employees to provide them with continuing education, professional advancement, networking, training and certification needed to excel in this industry. 

·         Up to $3,000 a year (provided that prior approval is obtained and the course contributes directly to the current position).

·         Our full-time Employees are eligible to utilize this benefit on an individual basis each year which surpasses the average educational benefit offered by most competitors by at least 25%. 

·         This benefit shows our Employees how much we value their continued success in the field. 

·         IBSS may offer additional training/education to staff to all Employees at an organizational level or agency-sponsored training. 

·         Such training would be exclusive of the educational reimbursement allowance for individual Employees and would not impact use of this benefit allowance.
